[Replace String] crashes when using it

version 2024.2.0.3104
when i select tools, edit tags and replace string, mediamonkey crashes. it offers a restart and restart safe mode. when i choose restart, sometimes it does restart other times a have to delete mediamonkey activity using task manager.
