Problem changing tags on same files multiple times.

Hi,
I noticed that sometimes my tag changes aren't saved or only saved partially. I think I have figured out when this happens.
Sometimes you need to change some files tags multiple times.
e.g. You have one album poorly tagged, so you perform these steps:
1. Get Artists and Title from filename
2. Update Album, Album Artists, Year and Genre
3. Run the Case Checker script
I always wait until the "tracks to tag" counter is done before i goto the next step since I noticed some strange behaviour otherwise.
The problem:
Eventhough I wait until the "tracks to tag" counter is done, it seems that MM still is performing some update of the tags. The files actually "blinks" during this process (which, as already said, happens after the tag counter is done).
If I try to tag the files before this "blinking" is finished, the new tag info is neglected and the tag is reverted to the old value!
This behaviour has been going on for a while and I can't remember when it started.
Has anyone else noticed this?
If not can you reproduce it?
Thanks.
