This is a well discussed topic and many solutions are available by using the forum search top of page.
I found this link which may do it for you...

OK now I do have a problem.

I downloaded the autoscrobbler plugin for mediamonkey. It still isnt recognizing the songs im playing in Last.FM. It says in the log when im playing a song, but it doesnt put that into last.fm or the 5 recently played song list at the bottom.

Can anyone help me?

You can use the "regular" plug in from the last.fm site.
When it asks you to point it to Winamp just point it to media monkey.
(sorry at work without MM or Last.fm :( can't be more specific)

If you've done that and it's still not scrobbling go into the last.fm client options and make sure you've selected both the hard drive that the program is on and the hard drive your music is on.
(assuming they're different)
Better still check all the boxes for all the hard drives it finds.

last.fm forum has a thread about this if I've just befuddled you.

Yea I directed it to the right place...

woah I just noticed something... It doesnt show my external harddrive in the Last.fm client... it has all 12 other things including my main harddrive but not the external one.

Not that playing any of the music on my main hardrive that IS selected is working...

I just searched for a while and couldn't find the tread.
I know it's there somewhere since I used it to fix my problem.

In my situation one of my 4 drives wasn't selected in the last.fm client.
Even though there was no music or programs on that drive last.fm wouldn't scrobble until I checked it.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Ok so I just realized my external hard drive wasnt plugged in >.<

and the plug in for MM started listing the songs I played... well most of the time.

Now just to see if it will recognize songs from the external hard drive and then send them to LastFM...

Last.fm are having some server problems and. Your scrobble list will be stored by your last.fm client and automatically updated when the servers are in order.
