Here's something for you iTunes fantast's. There is some coding work left. I'm far from finished, but you'll get a nice player with basic functionality. This is basically 8 hours of coding work, so play nice with me.

Screenshots;
Image
#1; Main window with iTunes player.

#2; iTunes Miniplayer

Image
#3; iTunes Micro-player

Download;
http://mediamonkeyskins.blogspot.com/20 ... -skin.html

On to-do list;
- Pretty much update the rest of the skin.
- Make system buttons like they are when you install iTunes 7.1 on Windows Vista.
- Update scrollbars.
- Update window-frame.
- Add album-art to the skin when the width is more than (x) pixels.

On the buglist;
- The deskplayer has a one pixel offset vertically. It should be moved one pixel down. What can I/you do with that Petr, Rusty, Jiri, Peke?
- Could as well be on the wishlist, but it is the possibility to define if the playlist should show up or not.

On the wishlist;
- The possibility to add a search field to my player skin.
- The possibility to move the player right under the menu (such as in iTunes).
- The possibility to add viewing modes (the three buttons) like iTunes have it.
- Centering and right-aligning of text areas.

I'm glad you like it!

If we get the possibility to press viewing modes from the player, I will add those three buttons. I will also add a search engine if I get the chance by the coders. Also, all text in the iTunes-player should be centered. I hope this can be added soon.

Wow Morten, you're doing some great work with this skinning engine, I'm very impressed. I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your previewed skin (here, for those that haven't seen it: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15743). I know the player can be moved about; is it possible to put it at the top of the screen, a la itunes? I've got a good feeling that by the time MM3 comes out, we will have skins a plenty!

I'm sure that can be fixed, but for now I'm focusing on getting the code finished.

Brilliant! Looks just like it

A++++

Some suggestions:
-have the shuffle/repeat etc.. buttons on the right side of the player where it looks bland and blank
-Have kbps next to the seek bar
-Get rid of your duplicates in the library :D 8)

1) Yeah, I'm thinking about that.
2) On the right side you mean?
3) Haha, but the songs are on different albums. So no. 8)

Very nice, I like it. However I do prefer "Royal Grey" because the arrow buttons are a little closer to the play button and not so spaced out. That's just my preference I guess.

Still this looks great.

Thanks for fixing the problem - no more crashes! I really like the skin and look forward to its evolution (along with the other ones you're working on)
