Date --> Song Date vs. Album Release Date

So, I just noticed that, rather than pulling the date the SONG was released, it pulls the date of the album.

Normally this is okay, unless you have a bunch of various artist CDs which have songs from, say, 1939 (Big Band Era) and such.

When I pulled the songs in on CD (through WMP, grant you) it pulled in the date of the song and the album release.

Is it possible to set this up in MM?

Amazon is notorious for it. I tend to check CD Universe for release dates

try discogs.com also, i use it a lot, along with an artist search on wikipedia.
