"Track Browser" is not browsing in given views..

Hello! :)

I'm currently testing the Alpha 7 -version.

It's about the "Track Browser" -windows, the "3 -window" -thingy..

For the Track Browser to work properly, I have to highlight either Title, Artist, Album, Genre or Rating within the Library -tree.

It will not work if I just highlight the "Library" -tree alone, or (for me even more important) one of my self -made MagicNodes (will not work with other Nodes either).

Is there something I could to to prevent this, to make it work!?

If it has anything to do with anything, my 3 browser settings in the Track Browser is; Genre, Album Artist and Composer.

What's not working!? : It's not possible to browse..

Thank you so much for you help and time! :)

I experience what MonkeyBone experiences as ell, but this issue is not just when using the "Track Browser." When selecting the Library node, no library information is accessible. I don't recall if MM2.5 behaves in this manner and, of course, I'm not at home to check it out.

But, in MM3 B1, when just the Library node is selected no information is displayed in the main window (or "Track Browser" window). Additionally, search functions do not work. One must select a different node (Artist, Album, Genre etc) in order for the Library to become accessible.

Is this the way it's intended to be? Personally, it drives me bonkers that I have to expand the Library tree and select another node. Having access to my music library should be as simple as selecting the Library node. I can't tell you how unintuitive it is when I want to search for something in my library, but selecting the Library node doesn't allow me to do so.

What would be nice is to have an option to lock the track browser on to a certain node, like artist, so no matter where you are it will work on the whole library.

Great Suggestion!

Can we do that? Please, please, please? :P

I'm pretty sure that they're working on making the library node show tracks as well... but please.. keep kicking up a fuss about it because I don't think they realise how important it is!

There's also something else that's been messed up in the last build / betas..

If I pick a "black field" -in my example; the "composer" -field, the whole thing resets and goes blank.. the windows in the "3 window menu", that is..

What's the actual name of it?

Anyway.. this was not a problem with earlier betas / builds..

Thanks!! :)

Was that an answer to my "last problem", or to the problem in my first post, or both!?

Thanks again! :)
