B3-Filters applied incorrectly to playlists[F3721]

Post by kubu4 »

Based on the physical appearance of the Tree/Node structure, Playlists should not be affected by any filters being applied to the library. However, when I have a filter active and then click on a playlist that contains songs from various sets of filters, the only songs displayed in the track browser area are those available in the current filter.

It took me quite some time as to figure out why the tracks I had just added to a playlist weren't showing up when I clicked on that playlist (I had a filter active that did not include those added tracks).

The confusing part is primarily due to the tree organization. If playlists are affected by library filters, then I think it would make sense to have the playlists as children of the Library node.

Thoughts?

Playlists of the 1st generation , which connect to playlist node directly , are not affected by library filter in RC-1(1098).
But 2nd generations , which connect to playlists of the 1st generation , are still affected by library filter.
