MM steals associations --> MM Associations Glitch [4004]

WHen I installed MM I deselected all the file associations, when opening MM it looks like this:

This bug still appears in RC2, stealing file associations is not nice...

I too deselected every extension at install but unlike you mine have remained unselected. All is well here.
Btw, You've made an observation. Whether the observation is a "bug" or not is another matter.

It probably just persisted from some previous installation, just try to disable them in MM, it should be ok then.

Tested in 1105 and can't reproduce MM stealing associations, though I did find a glitch in which some of the less common file types (e.g. MP+, VQP) remain associated even after having been deselected.
We're looking into this.
