Multiple tracks playing?

Hello.

The other day I'd moved some folders with explorer, and to my dismay found that none the songs in MediaMonkey worked (They were grayed out).

I found a fix through the forums and had deleted them through the dead links node, but recently, something weird happened...

Some of the songs say that they're playing twice, and are bolded black for each song to indicate playing. :o It also says that they have the same file name in the same directory, which is obviously not true as they would be overwritten... any ideas?

you messed up the database.
by going in explore and moving things.
the only thing i think will work is clean the database.
or clear the library and rescan it all.
i think that would fix it

Do you know if this will in any way affect my tags?

Anything stored in the tags will be fine, ie.:Ratings
References stored in the DB will be lost, ie.:Playcounts

You might want to synchronize tags before clearing the database. This way you are sure you don't loose any tag information. Also make sure you have the latest copy of MediaMonkey (2.5.5) installed. At last you can always make a copy of the database (My Music/MediaMonkey/MediaMonkey.mdb) before clearing the database so you can return to the old version in case it's needed.
