MM3 Pricing Problems

I think MM is the best value for money of any music organizer. You took a loyal MusicMatch user of three years and a one year Helium user and satisfied almost all my needs (Well, I still use Helium to publish HTML pages because it does it better for me).

I decided to buy 3.0 today, but the conversion rate for CDN$ is too high. Way too high. According to the latest exchange figures at xe.com, $19.95 US$ is #20.11 CDN$. Your price page lists the conversions as $21.94. That's about a 10% up-charge on the rate. I expect a 1-2% up-charge or difference because of late/early conversion rates, but 10% is too much IMHO. That said, I've gone ahead and made the purchase because I think it's good value. But I would recommend you change the rates to be more in line rather than risk losing business.

Store conversion rates

hi,

The simplest way around this is to order in $US. That way you don't pay the 'conversion tax' charged by our store, which is admittedly rather high (of course you'll be charged by your credit card company, but it'll be at a more reasonable rate).

I will look into why this is the case, but I don't expect that I'll be able to do much about it.

Regards,
Russell
