Search Enhancements

Hey,
I have two enhancements for the MM search.
1. Some bands have special chars in their name like "Sigur Rós"
So, if I want to get all songs I have to search for "Sigur Rós" but it would be great to get the results also when searching for "Sigur Ros" without the "ó".
2. Would it be possible to have more control over the search bar? I noticed that MM also searches in Lyrics which isn't important most of the time. So a feature to control the tags that will be included in a search.

I agree with feature 1 as a wish.
As far as your second wish, I believe its already possible, check
this thread.

Hey,
thanks. This options works fine.
But a integration into the preferences would be even better.
Maybe with some checkboxes.
Could look like this:
Search this fields:
X Title
X Artist
X Album
O Lyrics
[...]

I'd also appreciated it if the search would be downgraded to the previous version, where you could enter one or more words and with the drop down field decide where to search for i.e. artist, album, title...

I agree! And I also want sorting in search node to be remembered. Should be easy to implant a exstra search-menu in the options dialog...

Hey,
any news to this issue?
Searching for "Sigur Ros" should also show all songs by "Sigur Rós" with "ó" instead of "o".
That should apply to all related characters.

One other search enhancement (previously posted).
Show "None Found" or equivalent in status bar when search has null result.

That would help a lot with determining if a search has finished. Sometimes this is very unclear.
