I just spent a lot of time setting track dates in the Original Date field (for compilations, live recordings, re-releases, etc.). I wanted to make an autoplaylist based on this field and was very surprised (and disappointed) to find that it's not available as an advanced selection?? Are there any plans to include this and soon? If not, I've got to find a workaround for the limitation as I'd prefer to keep my data correct rather than manipulate it to make it work with MM. Unfortunately, I can't imagine doing anything other than copying that field to a custom one. This is neither practical nor desirable. Certainly plans must be in the works to include this field as a playlist criterion. Please?

Have you tried creating a custom node via the My Custom Nodes Script? You can extract the information you are looking for while waiting for a native MM solution.

No, but thanks for the rec. I will try with that script. I really hope the devs add OD to the playlist criteria.

I should probably add this to the Wishlist forum but I don't want to double-post. Playlist criteria (as well as masks) reeeeeeally need to include Original Date. It's impossible for me to make all inclusive era playlists otherwise. I will add a link to here in the official discussion thread.
