artist field in auto tag is not populated when invoked from a selected song -- anyone see this regression? I'm also having problems with changing properties on multiple songs- changes don't show up in list mode. Is my install messed up? Never seen this in previous builds of MM3.

Other problems noticed:
- DestroyControl sometimes fails (objects locked)
- checkboxes and track num changes deletes all tags in web tag scripts

There were no changes to the "Auto-tag from Web" feature in the last builds so there should not be a regression related to this. Could you describe the problem/steps to reproduce in details with possibly screenshot attached so that we can reproduce your issue. Thx.

I just tried to uninstall and re-install build 1164. Fixed my problems with this build. I had skipped from build 1134 to 1162 and then 1164. it was probably an issue with my setup.

UPDATE: after a bit of tweaking MM post the new install (setting up window sizes and column widths) the symptoms I reported above returned.

Here is the problem in a bit more detail:
Right click on any song (or multiple songs) and try to perform "Auto Tag from Web" or "Auto Organize". The song(s) does not get populated in the windows that open (the auto tag or auto organize).

Also, the categorize tool bar widgets don't apply attributes to the selected song in the list view. it seems like MM does not "see" the song selected in the list view for all the above actions.

I cannot reproduce, could you attach a screenshot or describe me how should I "set up window sizes and column widths" ?

"setup window sizes and column widths" refers to the MM window and list view columns (showing/hiding desired ones). Just very basic windows stuff.

The problem is taking actions on selected songs in the MM list view. Attached is a screen shot where I have selected 12 songs in the list view from the artist "Quantic". I then selected "Auto tag from Web..." and the auto tag window opened. then I took the screen shot. In all previous builds of MM, the auto tag window would have the artist name placed in the search input at the top. this is broken for me in the latest build. this function is broken for me in a general way in that the "Auto organize..." operation also behaves as if no songs were selected.

Rogerr, anyone of us cannot reproduce the issue.

Do you have installed some 3rd party scripts?

I had "right click for web" script installed but uninstalled it. I'll try another uninstall/install of MM.

I have that script and haven't any issues with Auto-Tag.

I FOUND THE FAILURE CASE!!!!

If the "Now Playing" window is undocked, then the above defect I described occurs! If I close the "Now Playing" window, the problem does not happen.
