1170 Cannot Navigate a Playlist in AAwD Using First Letter

While in Album Art with Details view, using a letter from the keyboard to navigate a playlist/autoplaylist causes an access violation error. It also happens in Album Art view but not in Details view. I've sent error reports.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter Album Art or Album Art with Details view.
2. Select a playlist.
3. Be sure AA or AAwD is the active window.
4. Press a letter/number on your keyboard to navigate to the next album in the list beginning with that letter.
