Pah,

a couple of questions:
- Did 'Album Browser' work well for you in MM 2.2 (it showed similar information there, but without tagging options)
- What Windows version do you use and which Internet Explorer version do you have installed?

Hi Jiri,
I did get a similar error (1st attempt every new MM session) on this Win98SE machine running IE 5.0 with the album browser, although after acknowledging the error, a second attempt at opening the album browser would then work. Unfortunately this new beta version won't work for me.

I've sent through a debug log to Rusty.

Pah,

I modified the way the dialog is initialized, hopefully it will run better for you in the next release.

Have you tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling MM? This sometimes helps with problems that the developers can't reproduce.

When uninstalling you might want to consider to delete the complete MM folder from program files after uninstall. This way you prevent that a possible bad script or plugin continues causing the same problem after reinstall.

In any case always try to generate a debug report before reinstalling MM.

Yep, tried all that.
It's a pretty shitty Win98 install though. It wouldn't hurt for me to rebuild the entire system.

I'd try to reinstall IE before you try to do so with the entire system. It could do the trick and would be much easier.

I've tried on several occasions to upgrade this one from IE5 to 6 but it fails that too.

Hi! I am running MM 2.4.2.874 on this machine

OS Name Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
Version 5.0.2195 Service Pack 4 Build 2195
System Type X86-based PC
Processor x86 Family 6 Model 7 Stepping 3 GenuineIntel ~501 Mhz
BIOS Version Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
IE 5.000.372

I constantly get the same error at the same address. Have you found a workaround this bug?
