MM2.3: localization issues

Some minor issues with MM2.3 (not translated strings):
- File | Create report | Statistics (+tooltip)
- Statistics: problem with "Top 10 Genres played" (from the script itself, string is badly built), and "Generated by..."
- Search | Sort criteria: Random album
- "Device profile: XXX" (eg. "Generic Portable/Audio Device")
- HP iRiver plugin, settings, 3rd page: not a word is translated
- Options, page Appearance: "Custom X:" (as "Custom X" strings are in db.po)

Thanks for a detailed report, these issues will all be fixed in the next release, except for names of device plug-ins (they aren't translated even in case of input or output plug-ins so they won't be here - at least for now).

All fixed with the new release, except for

- File | Create report | Statistics (+tooltip)

(even though there's a token 'Statistics' in the POT file).

That works fine for me. Don't forget that you have to translate not only default.po, but also e.g. DB.po in this case.

Yes, that's the same as in HTML report. For now, that's kind of footer that's always in English...

There's no "Pretty Slow" in .po files for translation.
This bug was in 2.2 and still in 2.3

Will it ever be gone?

No, that isn't bug, 'Pretty Slow' isn't part of standard tempo names in MM, you probably got it by scanning your collection where some track(s) have this value.

I suppose this issue shouldn't be discussed here, but it was started here...

The reasons why I was sure that "Pretty Slow" is MM untranslatable string
is that it appeared not only in Library Classification node, but everywhere else too...

I just wanted to say, that not as much as "Pretty Slow" is Library node is confusing me. It's Ok, if there are tracks with such tempo rating are in Library and you want to find them.

But it is really disappointing to me that it appears in right-click "Send To"...
dropdown menu, as in "Edit" toolbar (e.g. it's added to MM database), and, what is more important, cannot be removed from there, even if you no longer has such track with this tempo.
Though it can appear to be really useful to many other people.

Is there a way to remove "excess" strings from Library?

Also - about classification - will it be possible to set rating of tracks to be blank again, after you've already rated them?

Rating - select unknown to set as blank

Hmm...

Thank you again, Lowlander.
With your help, I've found that I can set rating to be blank, though it is possible only via tracklist... [/u]

You can do this either directly from the tracklistings or from the properties window in MM.

It's true that the unknown value is missing from the categorize toolbar and from the tray icon menu.
