The MouseOver event of the MicroPlayer triggers a nice PopUp.
IF this PopUp is visible AND I exit MM via Context Menu THEN the MicroPlayer closes, but the PopUp (and the MM task) freeze.

Hmmm. Having problems reproducing this. Getting the context menu up closes the pop-up.

Ok. Brain fart at this end. I was testing Tray Icon instead of Micro Player. I had not enabled "MediaMonkey Players" in the Vista Taskbar->Toolbars.

Got an AV during initial testing. There will be a Mantis report, just not sure what yet.

It also seems to have issues when the Task Bar is set to auto-hide. When the taskbar is visible the popup is shown at the top of the screen. If it isn't visible it's shown at the bottom of the screen (above task bar). If auto-hide is disabled it's always shown at the bottom.

And as a question, what triggers the popup to show?

I'll check it out. Popup will show up when mouse position is in micro player's area (with some timeout).

I had an issue with the position of the popup. It's gone for me now.
But it shows that in some case it's not in front of the taskbar player like it should be.

I noticed also that sometime the popup appears with a short delay. Sometime you need to hover for almost 3 secs, and sometimes it's almost instant.

I would also ask you if the possibility of placing a seekbar in the popup is planned for 3.1?
It's default in the wmp microplayer popup and i find it really usefull.

Which is why I asked my question as it didn't seem to behave the same every time it popped up.

yep I played with it a bit and tried to find a logic to it but didn't find one.

Once you've hovered mouse over micro player, an timer will starts and waits 2 seconds to show up popup window. In case you'll move mouse out of micro player within this 2secs timeout, popup will not appear.

Could you make the timer configurable?

Probably in future (post 3.1).

Ok but please consider implementing support for the seekbar.

Initial problem report seems to be fixed in 1202, however, I got an AV (report sent) while preparing for the test.
Needs more testing for other issues raised.
