1203: adding custom nodes & subnodes problem-BUG#5056

I just installed 1203 and saw that my last.fm node script no longer shows the + to indicate subnodes.
you can still expand by double clicking.
normally in the script, the subnode is not populated until you click the + sign.
is this an intended change in behavior or a regression?
