Limited player controls in property sheet

Post by RogerD_AZ »

Add a "Play Now" button in the properties sheet next to the < > buttons.
Maybe along with it a check box "always play now" when <> tracks.
And even better (getting greedy) two setting boxes "Start Playing @ xx% of song" "Play For xx seconds". Like make preview options. Seems this would be a big help in tagging music.

I too waste a lot of time getting out of Properties, playing the song and coming back to the dialod to tag it.

Nice wish item...

And a slow double click in any field in the tracklisting (or now playing) and you can edit it directly.

Thanks, great tip.

But it seems to be updating the timestamp even if the tag was not changed. Is there a way to fix this?

Disabling timestamping altogether is not practical. The files should be saved only if the tag actually changed.
