1228 - Keeps playing last 2-3 secs of CD BUG#5413

Vista - 32 bit, SP2, all the patches
I got a wild one. This just started on 1228, but the last 2-3 secs of every track repeat when playing a CD. You can skip to the next track, but happens on all of them.
I've rebooted, but have not reinstalled yet.
Anyone else seeing this? or am I the only one playing a CD
