1 Ensure Now Playing is docked
2 Click on a Now Playing Track
3 Click on a Track List track
4 Click on Now Playing title bar
Expected: Now Playing has focus
Observed: Track list has focus

If the window is undocked, I'd agree, but if it's docked, I don't think that most users would expect that focus would change.

That's the only way for the mouse user to just move the focus there.
And yes I do have on my list the suggestion that the Track List needs this too

I think most users would be inclined to just click the track in the list to shift focus, especially since the titlebar can be hidden.

That doesn't "just move the focus" - it in general loses the selection too. That is unacceptable in productivity apps like Word, Excel etc. and I think MM should uphold the same standards. It is not hard.

Only if multiple tracks are selected. Even then you won't lose focus with a right-click.

Or if the current track is out of view.

Assuming you mean "lose selection", the not reproduced here. I.e. when I right-click in docked Now Playing to set the focus, it successed only when on a track, and that loses selection.

That's not the case here. If tracks are selected but out of focus, right click on the unfocused selected tracks in docked Now Playing. The selection is not lost.

Ah, the
selected tracks, now

For that yes I get the same.
Though that has the nonsensical requirement that some selected tracks are in view.
Surely clickable title bar makes much more sense. Can you think of any downside?

No, as long as the current method is available as well.
