Last.fm plugin crashing MM in Windows 7.

How do I go about completely removing the Last.fm plugin from MediaMonkey so I can start over? I've deleted the dll file from the plugins folder, but the icon still appears in MM in the toolbar. MM crashes every time the plugin connects to Last.fm, so I'd like to reinstall. When I try to uninstall from the extensions dialog, the plugin does not appear.
I'm currently using MM Beta 3.1.2.1267 and Last.FM plugin 1.0.2.21. When I attempt to install the plugin it starts another instance of MM and appears to install correctly, but then it does not appear when I restart.

Any ideas?

Tools | Extensions

There you can uninstall the plugin.

I guess I didn't state it clearly, but the plugin does not appear in the extensions dialog. "When I try to uninstall from the extensions dialog, the plugin does not appear."

Sorry about that, I must have glossed right over it.

Go to C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto

and delete:
!LastFM.options.vbs
Lastfmcache.ico
lastfmoff.ico
lastfmon.ico

There's also some stuff in the MediaMonkey.ini file but that is probably okay to leave in.

last.fm plugin still crashing MM.

I thought I was in the clear, but I'm still getting this error:

---------------------------
Application Error
---------------------------
Exception EVariantInvalidArgError in module gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll at 0001022C.

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I cleared everything Last.fm out and then reinstalled the plugin and I'm still getting that randomly.

Thanks.

Thx, can you reinstall MediaMonkey but using Right click -> TroubleShooting Compatibility or In properties tell Win 7 that MediaMonkey installation is Windows XP SP3 compatible and then start the installation?

I'm trying your suggestion with the most recent build (1269) and the Last.fm plugin dies with every song.

I'm trying this again after taking a few months away. The extension works flawlessly at work on my Windows 7 Pro machine, but it still crashes at home. I have the identical MM setup at home and at work. Any other ideas?

Same problem here. I installed the Last.fm plugin and MM kept freezing at the end of every song. Running MM with the compatibility mode fixed things in my computer. Thanks Peke.

I've the same problem, but only on a small number of albums in my collection (Them Crooked Vultures, just now... maybe one or two others).

"Exception EVariantInvalidArgError in module gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll at 0001022C." pops up upon starting each song. Song keeps playing. Most of the time if I cancel the dialog everything is fine to the next song, but sometimes MM has to be completely killed.

MM 3.2.0.1294 (registered) and LFM plugin 1.0.2.22

Install MM on top of existing Right click -> Run As Administrator.
