1271 iPod plays only first 5 secs of each wav song [#6036]

Just installed 1271. Fixed "no music" under artists and cover flow issues (for me). But now, it only plays the first five seconds of each song. Anyone experiencing this problem???

Only plays the first 5 seconds where? In MM or in your iPod? Playback works fine for me thru MM and my iPhone.

iPod 2g 32gigs, software 3.1.1, itunes 9.1, windows xp pro.

Does it really happen for all tracks? Or just some of them? Are all of them mp3s?

all tracks yeah, even in shuffle mode. Flac converted to wav.

Just retested with autoconversion of flac to mp3 and no problem here. Can't it be in your case somehow related to album art as suggested here:

In case you don't find anything else, please synchronize only few tracks (1 is ok) that have this problem and e-mail me content of iTunes_Control folder from your iPhone.

Can you confirm whether this issue still exists in build 1273? A similar issue was resolved (bug #6031) and hopefully this is fixed as well.

I am experiencing the same issue however the shortened playback only seems to appear when FLAC and WAV files are copied to the iPhone.

I was able to reproduce the issue with WAV files, it's fixed, you can check it out using updated
http://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/d_iPhone.dll.
However, I don't see any problem while using FLAC, it has to be autoconverted before syncing, by default it's to MP3, maybe you set it to WAV, which would explain the problem?
