Hi,
I am using the default player. When I move the mouse over the micro player, the pop up displays the track and album, but not the artist. When the songs change, the popup displays the artist, album, and track. Yes, all tag information is entered.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm perplexed.

The microplayer popup doesn't show "Artist". For some reason showing artist there is not supported by the theme engine of MM.

Thanks NoHitter. I guess I should move my post into the requested enhancements, but it seems like it should be pretty standard to me.

What is "the default player"? What is the "pop-up"?

I see two different "pop-ups" -- the "tip" that you get when hovering the mouse over the tray icon, and the one that actually does pop up when a new song starts. Two very different windows.

In the tip, I see Artist and Title, plus elapsed and total seconds, but no Album. In the pop-up, I see all three fields, plus the year, plus the rating. The fields get badly truncated because the window is too small and badly organized (the year should appear on the same line as the rating, for one thing, as they're both fixed-width and relatively small).

I am running MM unskinned. My complaint with this non-skin is, the album title doesn't appear in the mini-player (nor does the mini-player have the toggle button for Auto-DJ, unlike the one found in the Glided skin).

By default player he means the default skin "Glided" and by pop-up he meant the pop up when you hover the mouse over the microplayer (only available in skinned mode).

I know I've seen that microplayer, but for some reason I can't get it to display for me now. Minimizing to microplayer is minimizing completely to tray for me now, running with Glided.

Right click the taskbar > Toolbars > check "MediaMonkey player"

Is the MM team aware of this?
Also IIRC it doesn't support the seekbar either.
I don't use the microplayer anymore. But I remember considering it as an unfinished feature.

It would be very nice if the seekbar could be implemented in the microplayer popup.
Like it is in WMP (in the above screenshot)

It is obvious that I do not use WMP for anything I play videos with SPlayer (Shooter Player) and all my music with MM.

BTW: Since MM4 will support video playback.
It could be useful to implement video preview in the micropopup.
