Searching by album art

I wonder if this could be possible in later releases?

I think it was mentioned in an earlier thread that something like this would be available in the next version or so. :)

I guess you are looking for a way to find out which of your albums/titles do have which kind of album art (tag or file).

Workaround: Use MagicNodes ( http://www.mediamonkey.com/scripts.htm )

and define the following node:
Album art|icon:top level\<cover type>|unknown:yes\<cover storage>

That works really great! I use it myself! But it just finds and display/sorts out the tracks with any kind of art. The ones without art you can find via the node "Unknown album art" in "Files to edit".

I ment like mjs93 said. If you have album tagged every artist, it would have been fun to click on their respective pictures to browse their music! :)

Meedio (http://www.meedio.com) has a nice implementation of this. The application does slow down when in album art mode as all images need to be extracted from the songs.

Browsing by album art has a logic as that is what most people do with regular cd's. Many people are quit familiar with the album art for each album.
