my songs are on a NAS, but when I try to import them to my library no tags are imported at all.
The only information that is added to the database are the path, file name and file size.

The songs are on a samba share, the path looks like this: \\mediaserver\music\foo.mp3

Manually adding tags works fine. After removing the edited song from the database and importing it again, it's not displayed anymore.

I updated my database from MM3 to 4, so at first I only noticed that no album arts are shown. Adding them manually is not possible at the moment.


BTW: on my internal hard drive everythings fine.

i have WinXP 32, latest service Pack


EDIT: It doesn't matter if it's my NAS or any share of any Windows computer, the tags are always missing!

I can confirm that scanning from my NAS doesn't see the tags either.

I can confirm that tags are imported from network location in 1343.
