If you right click on the cd drive say f: in my case, under my computer node it does not show the rip cd option

just tried mm 4 cd like you said and in my windows xp pro sp3 i get the rip icon to show up beside the name of the cdrom
in the tree.
not on the menu bar.

is that what you are missing? or is it not showing up at all in yours.?

Yeah, there is a little CD icon with arrow to the right that starts the rip process.

What i mean is when you insert a disc and mm sees the disc, it shows a seperate node for the disc, if you right click on that it show the option to rip the disc. If i go to "my computer" and look for the disc there say "drive f" and right click there it doesn't show me the rip cd option.

try to make a debug log with debug view and send it in so they can find the error.

You're right, although both have the rip CD icon to the right allowing you to rip the CD.
