1351: Navigation bar scrolling. [7488]

Hello.

When scrolling through in the navigation toolbar menus with the mouse wheel,
each roll of the wheel stack up.
e.g. if you roll the wheel ten times, it will continue to scroll for a long time after you released the wheel.

Another problem is that if you are navigating in a long list, there is no way to quickly go to a distant entry without using the keyboard:

Let's say you are in "Artist" and you have 1000 artists.
If you want to go to "Rolling Stones" it will take you a while. ( unless you use the keyboard and press the "r" key )

I think it would be nice to implement scrollbars AND/OR middle-click scrolling in these menus.

Thank you.

I see the scrolling issue too. I'm unable to type to jump (typing m sends me to the My Computer node). I'm not sure about the suggestions though as this is already available in the Media Tree which seems much more suited for large library navigation.

I much rather see the grouping by first letter in the Media Tree be implemented for Artist and Album nodes.

I'm trying a new minimalistic layout without Media tree. And if these suggestions were implemented it would be viable.
Your suggestion of grouping by letter is interesting and could be applied to the navigation bar menus too.

Also thanks for confirming the scrolling bug.
