Steps to reproduce :

1. Put a bunch of tracks in Now Playing
2. click on Now Playing node in the three
3. remove track from Now Playing within node
4. no update until you select another node and click back on Now Playing...

With both node and window available I've tried deleting from either and both update as expected here on XP with Details view.

How about without the window?

As said, I had both showing and tried deleting tracks from both and both the node and window updated when doing this. First the node updates and then the window.

I'm getting the same problem here. Plus more.

I noticed it first when Auto Album DJ was playing through the albums, the Now Playing had not refreshed to show what was currently playing. Goes on for long time with original display list. The Now Playing PANE does show correctly and stay updated. #4 action above also triggers a refresh, or update as you say the NP node.

Oh, I see that If I disable Auto Album DJ and just use regular auto dj, refresh works on NP node fine as it moves forward through the songs. BUT, deletes still don't show in the NP node, only the pane.

Better yet, testing, I find that if I switch from art+details to just details, it all refreshes, Album dj or regular. Also, search of NP node does not work in Art+ details, but does in details only. So, it's something about Art+Details view.

Oops, I had found this thread searching. Just saw that it's in beta testing forum I'm using 1304. ....sorry. So, the issue, if the same as noted by OP, is carried over from earlier versions?

Album DJ is an addon so any issue caused by this addon should be reported in the addons own thread.

I was chasing it down toward Auto Album DJ, but then saw that it has more to do with the Art+details view, actually. Uninstalling Album DJ, I still get the same problem, when in Art+details view, which I use all the time. This view is one of the early reasons I went to MM.

So, it appears not to be an addon issue. My mistake to even mention Album DJ. It's the way MM is looking at/displaying the library, by song or by album that seems to cause the issue to appear.

Does it reproduce for others besides us two?

I can confirm this issue when deleting tracks from the Now Playing window while the Now Playing node is selected and using the Art + Details view. The Now Playing node fails to update.

I do want to reiterate that it's an issue with the current release, 1304, and not just 1355

Just tested in 4.0.0.1395. The issue seems to have been resolved.
