I thought this has been fixed already, from a previous topic. Downloaded latest build, but the Columns won't retain the size and keeps on reverting back even after disabling certain topics on the column.

Is this fixed or a new bug?

It works fine for me. Can you be more specific? which node? which view? Is it only after a restart or is it just enough to switch nodes and back? Or must you switch view and switch back?

Basically that center. When I shrink each field, it explodes back to being 2-3 screens across, and also when I select individual fields, when I jump topics like from Music -> Podcasts or Classic Music genre section on the left side panel, it seems to reset the column selection that I have selected (stuff like Artists/Track length, Track#) and such.

You said latest build, but what build number? I can't reproduce in 1397.

I'm on 4.0.0.1397 -- I had MM3 installed concurrently before (uninstalled now). Would that have any effect on it?

I'm able to constantly reproduce this when I open the Music tree and the expand Location, and when I switch directories within the Music/Location tree, it will revert back. It's not consistent, but after a few changes in directory, it reverts.

Yes, MM3 could conflict with MM4.

If you're able to reproduce this within a single MM4 session, please record the session with Jing and post it here. I've tried replicating mixed up columns/non-persistent column settings, but haven't been able to replicate the bug.

Turns out this bug will occur on certain non-English versions of windows. Will be fixed in build 1430.
