[#8120] Counting discrepancies

Using latest .1404, fresh install on Windows 7 x64
There appear to be some counting discrepancies between the column browser and the main library.
Firstly the number of albums shown in the column browser for the entire library does not match the number of albums shown in library statistics:

Image

Even stranger, when I create an autoplaylist with condition Track # = 1 to give a count of the number of albums it returns 3037, not 3036. In addition not all the tracks in the playlist are shown in the column browser:

Here The All-American Rejects and The Allman Brothers Band are absent from the column browser, there are a few others missing but I haven't identified which yet.
I can upload the DB or a debug log if needed.

I agree, however I do not have just a discrepancy in albums, I also have:

Library Stats Report
Years 85 68
Tracks 19612 16334 (this number I understand because I could have tracks with the same title)
Artists 2968 2963
Albums 5571 5775

Has the stats report been updated to account for the new file types??

I would guess that your issue has something to do with filters, algorithm. Firstly Nyn, tracks having the same title wouldn't affect the "Tracks" count in the Stats report, as I'm pretty sure it's just a count from the Songs table or whatever, not a "DISTINCT Title" search or whatever. Secondly, the Stats report hasn't been updated for the new filetypes (though I'm not certain what modifications there would need to be, as it's not filtered and have as many bells and whistles as Zdev's version) as it's identical to the version supplied with 3.2.4

Anyway, I'm not seeing a descrepency between my library/column browser and the Stats report. When I opened up the column browser on my music node, it showed one less album than the Album count in the Stats report, but my video nodes has an "Album" which appears to be "Series"

EDIT: Mind you that I've just got a copy of a subset of my library in MM4, only about 144 tracks/videos. Not like my 10,000+ track database is being used with the MM4 beta. Perhaps with a greater number of files, I would see a descrepency.

Thanks for the clafication on the tracks/titles but when I ran my test it was based on my entire library, not segmented into the various types. And while I agree Zvezdand's version is better, this is the version that I normally use, the version that comes with MM should be correct. There is no guarantee nor should there be for the average user to install a script for a functionality that is supposed to be delivered with MM. Also, since MM4 is heading towards the end of it's testing cycle, I assume this will be addressed before MM is released.

I don't use any filters, the first screenshot is from the entire library view and I only have music files in the library, and that wouldn't explain why items on the playlist aren't showing up in the column browser. I would suspect this problem only happens on large libraries.
