Archiving movie library with MM3?

Hi folks. I found a couple of very vague references to this, but they didn't go into any detail. I don't rip my dvd's to my PC, but I would like to keep a log of everything for reference. I get the idea that this can be done within MM, but have no idea how to go about it. Is this similar to the notion of creating a virtual CD? Can I search Amazon (or IMDB, etc...) for disc info? What are the odds that MM (maybe the upcoming v4) could support a scanner/barcode app? Would much appreciate any info. Thanks a bunch!

No, MM3 doesn't support videos at all. MM4 does, but it seems more oriented to video file management, not to manage discs.

Thanks nohitter. What I'm actually trying to do is create a reference to the movies in my collection. Not actually archive the movies themselves. Ideally I'd like to be able to scan a DVD case with a usb scanner, and have software fetch the basic movie info from an online database (title, cover art, cast & crew, year, genre, and so on). Then be able to organize, search, and recall each title in the same way that MM allows me to do with my CD/music collection.

That would be nice, but unfortunately MM does not have those capabilities at this time.
