Crash when rating almost finished song [NOTREP]

Hi,

I'm using the debug 4.0.0.1453 build.
When a mp3 file is almost finished playing and I try to change the rating of that song, MediaMonkey crashes. It happens at cbr 320 kbps songs, I don't know if that has something to do with it.
I'm using the DirectSound Output plugin with all settings checked (crossfade track setting, remove silence at the beginning / end of track, etcetera).

Reproduce:
Start a cbr 320 kbps song
Skip to the end of the file (eg. 3 seconds before the song ends)
Change the rating of the song

I sent some MediaMonkey crash files, hope that helps.

regards,

charlieMOGUL

Please upgrade to the latest build 1455 and if it still occurs, generate a debug log.

fyi, I can't replicate in 1355 either. If you can, please send a debug log.

Thanks!

I downloaded & installed the latest (debug) build, 4.0.0.1455 and the bug is still there.

Debug log created & sent.
Please note that I use the crossfade tracks (4 seconds) setting. Maybe that has something to do with it ?

Good luck!

Where did you send the log? Please send it directly to me, preferably also with the .elf that might be in your MM folder.

Thanks,
Jiri

Hi Jiri,

I sent the debug log to Rusty, he reopened this call:

For what it's worth, I can reproduce the issue each time with 320 cbr mp3 file and rating a file in the last 1-2 seconds. Also in the latest build.

Note: CharlieMOGUL has confirmed over PM that the issue is not reproducible in 1457.
