problem with streaming

hi,

there seem to be some problems with the streaming in MM.

my MM always crashes when trying to play a webradio via the nullsoft shoutcast page.
just click on the web node -> shoutcast radio -> click play on any radio
i've got .pls associated with MM and the IE set so it automaticly opens it without asking. MM starts to stream and then immediatly crashes.

the last few lines of the debug view are as follows:

Code: Select all

[3692] New command line file: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\admin.DEMM\Lokale Einstellungen\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\OG8IDEFV\shoutcast-playlist[1].pls

... then it crashes. i know that this debug log isn't really helpful.

another problem with streaming that occurs to me is with the icecase page. trying to play an ogg stream from that page creates around 20 pop-up error messages "division by zero". playback works however and MM doesn't crash.
here is the important part of the debug log:

These should all have been fixed in beta 3. If any persist, please let us know.

Hi,

Looks like the issue with shoutcast is due to the in_mpg123 plugin that's being used. I'd suggest removing it and using the default plugins that are included with MM 2.5 and playback should work correctly.

Re. the second issue, this seems to work fine even on MM 2.4. It could be plugin related, though this is unclear. Can you tell me which specific station(s) result in this problem? Is anyone else observing this issue?

One possibility is that some plugin on your system is triggering this. Could you try uninstalling MM, removing all plugins, re-installing MM and then see if it works? If it does, then try to isolate which plugin is causing the problem. If it doesn't, then we'll have to add more debug code to figure this one out.

Thx.

Works now... :D

Don't have any problem with icecast & ogg streams.
