Total time left ?

In MM Gold, on my desktop, when I highlight some tracks, the readout at the bottom tells me how much time those tracks take up in total, which I find invaluable, especially for deejaying, but, when on my laptop, it seems to cut off just short of showing the total time for the tracks highlighted?? Can anyone help with any ideas please?

You can't make this area wider.

That's a tricky one to deal with then. I suppose it's the resolution that makes it appear on the desktop, but not the laptop?

Yes, the higher the resolution the more that can be shown. This issue has been reported before and may get fixed in the future, especially as when the statusbar is maximized there is no reason this shouldn't cover the whole width of the program.

Many thanks - do you know if there's a script available for it?

No, this needs to be done by the developers.

Is there someone here that could do a script for this for 20usd? I would pay 10 upfront and 10 on receipt, all by paypal.

The status bar area is not scriptable, so it's not possible.

When I get back to my other house where the laptop is, is it worth adjusting some of the settings? It's a 13.3 laptop. Higher or lower resolution settings? To see the total time on highlighted tracks is very important to me. Anything else (in win7), to adjust, that might solve the problem please? Any help much appreciated. Chris.

Maybe you can try to increase/decrease the values in 'Lesbarkeit auf dem Bildschirm erhöhen' (sorry, I don't know the accurate translation in english, but it should be something like '
Make the screen easier to read'.)

Thanks - have no wtried it, and one that worked was putting all of the text at 100%, BUT, it made everything quite difficult to read ;-( When I tried altering the resolution, it just created a window in the middle of the screen, without any options to maximise it???

Increasing the resolution should work as it will allow more information to be shown. However LCD screens generally should be run at the screens native resolution for best graphical experience.
ClearType can help with text clarity:

Thanks lowlander, will try the suggestions - in the meantime, the screen res on the laptop is 1280 x 768, and the window stretches across the whole of the screen on that res, but on the other resolutions, I just get little windows in the middle of the screen??

Does that happen with all applications and Windows itself? Maybe a screenshot (upload to
