MM 4.0.5.1496 Crashes

I just upgraded to 4.0.5 last night with the latest build 1496. I have upgrade my iPod Touch to iOS 5.1.1. The iPod is recognized by MM and begins to sync my roughly 3000 songs, but after about 200-300 songs it just silently disappears, no crash log or error message, the program just shuts down. I can restart it and start syncing again, but it'll just stop again. Any ideas?

Just some follow up information. I have sync'd my 2 kids iPod Touch with no crash, they are gen 2 version 4.2.1 and gen 4 version 5.1.1. Only my gen 3 recently upgraded to 5.1.1 causes MM to exit. I called it a crash, but it just quietly shuts down while copying songs to the iPod. Is an iTunes restore in order? Any ideas?

Generate a debug log (step 4b) capturing the connection of the iPod and subsequent sync crash and send it to support:

I've encountered the same problem with MM 4.0.6 1501.
I've tried to produce a log with the debug version and this time a bug report screen has appeared. I hope I have send it correctly (I am not sure since I have clicked on see the detail and I have not been able to go back to the previous form that i had previously filled)

In fact the probelm is quite strange.
I have a directory with 31 albums. If i synchronise the albums one after another there is no problem. But if i synchronise the 31 albums (roughly 700 songs) media monkey disappears in the middle of the synchro.
So as I said above I tried the debug version to produce a log, but with the debug version a bug report form opened and I hope to have filed it correctly.
