BUG: Renamed playlist left in MMA [#10105]

I found a small bug..
I was syncing a playlist, called phone, after wireless sync, the playlist was sent to MMA as expected
Then renamed this playlist to phone - rockpop and created another playlist called phone - electronic
I then set these up to sync and executed sync
There are now 3 playlists on the device, shown in MMA as
Phone
Phone - electronic
Phone - Rockpop

the phone playlist should have been deleted as it's now changed name in MMW?

In MMW or MMA?

Also is the option to remove files not on sync-list enabled?

the renaming was done in MMW

the remove files is not enabled no. That option shouldn't have any bearing in this scenario.

That option is the reason why it wasn't removed.

that doesn't make sense, as then all playlists would be left on the phone forever? tracks i remove from the playlist are removed. I renamed the playlist in MMW so it should have renamed in MMA

Yes, as otherwise any user created Playlist on device would always be deleted, thus this setting controls that.

you are missing the point, the playlist was renamed, therefore it should be renamed on the MMA side.
