Minor: "Play Now" behaviour inconsistent

Post by simonbrads »

According to the context menu when right-clicking on an individual track, "Play Now" is equivalent to Alt+Enter. However, selecting "Play Now" in the context menu always puts the entire album into the Now Playing list. Alt+Enter, as well as Enter and double-clicking put just the one file into the Now Playing list.

I'm not sure whether it's the context menu text or the action taken that's wrong. This may be a side effect of my having the "Play Now" action set to "Clear list and play selected only". I could dig a little deeper by clearing my settings, but I guess the people who are in a position to fix this will know well enough, anyway. :)

This is controlled by 'Play Now' Action under Tools > Options > Playback Rules per Type.

Problem reproduced here.

It is a bug in the context menu text - the text incorrectly identifies Alt-Enter as a shortcut key for the menu's Play Now command.
