Add support for the language tag the song. Many artists have Popular Sounds songs in several languages (English, German, Spanish, etc.). Sample implementation is in Helium Music Manager.

You could use a custom field or comment section for this.

I agree, but would like to use the standard tag. The more so because there is such a tag specification mp3. In my music library at all mp3 files tag language is full. Some programs (MuzCat, Helium Music Manager) support it, so I would like MediaMonkey also had the support of the tag.

I do use a custom field for this and then I set up a Magic Node to navigate by language.
But this approach has a big drawback: custom fields are not multi-valued. As I have lots of songs sung in two or more languages, I end up with nodes like "English; Portuguese" "English; Spanish" "Portuguese; Spanish" and so on...
A proper multi-valued "Language" field would ideal.

I'm confused by the status of the ticket.
According to the roadmap it has been resolved with Release MM4 2021-02-22.
But I can't find the option in MM5.

According to the ticket it's still open:

Has it been implemented in MM4 but then not in MM5?
And if so what is the new Roadmap for this feature?
