Win8, MM 4.0.7.1511 and UPnP doesn't want to play

I had MM 4.0.7.1511 running on a Windows 7 box with MM Win8 running on my tablet, and accessing the Windows 7 box from the tablet using UPnP was good.
The box died, so I rebuilt it using Windows 8 rather than Windows 7 with the same version of MM. Now, UPnP does not work no matter what I try, 1 time (out of about 200 attempts) MM showed up in the Media Servers list on the tablet.
The Windows 8 box is running Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 (the same as was on the Windows 7 box) and has all of the MM monkey files (MediaMonkey, mediamonkeyvhelper.exe, mediamonkeycom.exe, decorder.exe and mediamonkey.exe) as trusted with full permissions to the network. I have turned off KIS 2013 and I still cannot see the MM Server on my tablet.
On the Windows 7 box I did not have to do anything with the KIS firewall to make MM Server work. I have tried specifically enabling port 4000 inbound and outbound and IGMP inbound and outbound to any network address without seeing any differences.
I have set the following MM Settings:
Enable media sharing = true
Allow control of MediaMonkey player = true
Share automatically with all new devices = true
Notify me when a new device attempts to connect = true/false (I never get any notifications)
I have turned on network sharing and set the media server settings (via Home Group and in Settings) to allow anyone on the network to access the media server.
MM on the Windows 8 box shows MM Server in the Media Servers node. I can get to the web page from either the W8 box or the W8 tablet by browsing to http://<address>:4000/DeviceDescription.xml.
On the tablet I can see the WMP server and the local tablet, but not the MediaMonkey Server on the Win8 box.
The only thing I can see that might be a problem is on the "Devices" tab of the "Settings" page it shows "MediaMonkey Renderer" as "Not Windows Certified" but does show "MediaMonkey Server" without the "Not Windows Certified".
Anyone have any clues as to what the problem might be?
Thanks,
Eric
