MM crashes when scanning media

Hello. I have a Microsoft Surface RT and an SD card with about 12k songs. When I try to scan the media MM crashes. Is there a trick to making this successful?

Hi. Do you have updated to latest version (released yesterday) ?

I have version 1.0.3.47 arm. I did not update through the Windows Store (a notification did not come up) but I just uninstalled / reinstalled and it appears to be working now. Thanks.
