UPNP playback for gingerbread android.

Anyone having issues with UPNP playback for Gingerbread android devices.I heard somewhere that was was disabled? Why?

Android < 2.3 is Froyo. Gingerbread = 2.3

I don't use it a lot, but UPnP playback seems to work fine on my Gingerbread device with MMA build 124.
