hi all,

I am currently using a SBH52 (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/pro ... set-sbh52/) together with an Xperia Z1 and have problems with MediaMonkey. The SBH52 is supposed to display the artist and track names but it doesn't when used together with MediaMonkey. Wait before saying that it is not related to MM but to Sony (I contacted them but received no answer) because it works with all other music app I've tested, with the very same tracks (Walkman, Google Music, ...). So I guess the problem should come from MM itself. However, I love MM and I'd much prefer sticking with it rather than using another music app

Do you know where the problem could come from? Is this easily manageable?

sorry. the last build: Build 178, but same behavior with previous build.

Thanks for the report. Does metadata _ever_ display on that headset? e.g. if you initiate playback via the headset or via MMA does it make a difference?

Unfortunately no. It doesn't have any effect. The result is the same both ways. And thanks for considering this.

I've just seen that the new build present fixed metadata issues with Bluemont accessories but thought I should let you know that the problem is still persistant with the SBH52.

Can you send the debug log from MMA (through Options) and note the log number here. I will analyze why this happens, it works well with SBH50.

Thanks for your log, unfortunately your debug log does not contain any info about playback with your BT device. Please can you do it again according to these steps:
1) connect your BT device
2) play some song when hourglass is not displayed in action bar(without running synchronization).
3) wait around 30 s
4) send your debug log through Options

We're treating it as a lower priority issue, since it seems to be specific to this device (and it's working on our version of the device). But we still hope to get to it...
