flac transfer settings to iphone 4s?

Hello, I am using flac more and more, compared to just my mp3 files. I just bought the tuneshell app for my 4s which plays flac files on my iphone, but I want to use MM4.1 to transfer my flac files to my 4s without converting to mp3.

My question is what are the settings I would use in the auto conversion configuration for my iphone? I saw that I can add flac as one of the 'supported audio formats' in the iphone autoconversion configuration for my iphone, but I don't know what specific configs I use to allow a flac transfer to the 4s. I know I check the flac box in the file format box, but below that, where the audio formats, the sample rates, and the channels are, I don't know what the proper settings are. Is flac the only audio format I check, or are there other formats that I have to check as well? and I saw the wav format had all the sample rates whereas the mp3 settings only had a select few, so I don't know which would be the proper sample rates to be checked. I'm assuming the first and second channels would be checked, but again, I don't know. Can anyone help out??

I originally tried it with only the flac file format and the flac audio format checked and all the sample rates checked. I had the 1st and 2nd channels checked, but anytime I tried to play the flac file, I received a file not found error in tuneshell. Sorry for the redundancy too. :P

Just check the box for "FLAC" at the top.

Hmmmm.... I investigated and installed free version. I'll see with other developers but from my findings is that even that FLAC Files are synched correctly with MMW and are on iPod only files saved in "\Apps\tuneshell\Documents\Music" are playable and that tuneshell even it loads iTunes_content library do not access it correctly They should check it where the problem is as MMW can play FLAC file from iPod without problems.

EDIT: I have found that http://www.itools.cn/itoolsyingwenbanxiazai Works Flawlessly when you Drag and Drop files from MMW to <Connected iPod/Phone> -> Applications -> ShareDocs -> TuneShell -> "/Documents/TuneShell/Music"

I tried that originally, and Tuneshell would respond with a 'File Not Found' error. When I used Tuneshell's wifi uploading feature, it would recognize the flac files. The big issue is I'd like to use MMW exclusively to transfer all of my audio files.

So, am i understanding that it might be more of a Tuneshell issue, (and where Tuneshell puts the files at) than a flac or, more importantly, mmw issue? I'm wondering if another flac player might rectify that problem. Overall, I do like Tuneshell, but I'll try out other flac apps too. I'll keep everyone posted with my results too

I just tried the itools method, and it worked perfect for me too. I just wish apple would allow flac playback without the extra apps or workarounds so I could just transfer the flac files right along with the mp3, aac, wma, etc. files with mmw :/ I was hoping to bypass the autoconversion route, but that may not be an option for now.

I created http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11668 to see what options we may have for future MMW versions.

I would really like what TuneShell Developers think about your bug?
