Pop-up error after every track is played

I have MM4.1 running on a Windows 8 pc.
I am using the UPnP/DLNA to output the music to my Denon 2112ci receiver.
I first turn on the receiver, then open MM. Upon opening MM I get an error pop-up box saying the 'receiver' is either off or inaccessible. But once I click the 'ok' in the error box, it plays a track fine. Then once that track has finished, the error box pops up again...I click 'ok' and it plays the next track.
Any ideas why it does this when the receiver is on and obviously accessible?

sounds like you need to do a debug report. and send it in.

I presume you're playing from MediaMonkey to the receiver? I'd suggest capturing this in a debug log (step 4b) and to send the log to support:

I downloaded the and ran the DebugView as recommended (as administrator) and it did nothing. According to the instructions, once you open it, it is supposed to start capturing immediately. Not sure why it didn't.

Only if you installed the debug version of MediaMonkey.

Yep, I did download the debug version of MM, installed it and had the check box 'launch MM' when I clicked the finish button of the installation.
I installed it even though I already had the latest MM installed. I assume the debug version is running, not sure how you tell. But still, the DebugView program captures nothing.

Have you tried to run DBGView as normal user instead of Administrator?

Yes, just tried it...still nothing. I assume it works with Windows 8 64bit. It opens fine, just no capturing of anything.

Works fine for me on that system. Just to make sure, download, install and run:

Ok, I downloaded the link you posted. I closed MM, installed the debug version just downloaded, launched it, opened DebugView both as adminstrator then as not...still nothing.
How can I tell I am running the 'debug' version of MM? Under the 'Help' menu, selected 'About' it just shows 'MediaMonkey' then the version 4.1.0.1692. Says nothing about it being the debug version.

It doesn't show that you're doing so. I don't know why it won't work for you.

Well, thanks for your help. Just frustrating. This pop-up makes MM pretty useless, having to click 'ok' after each track...so I'd like to figure this out.

Hi,
This is more specific issue and as it is first report of such issue in 4.1 can you open support ticket where we will be able to arrange better and more direct support and allocate more resources into this?

I have the same error with MM 4.1.4.1709 and a Denon 2112ci. It's like MM times out before the track plays, pops up the dialog, and then the track plays.

Capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and send the log to support:

Possible causes could be slow file access (eg. on a network share that's slow) or auto-conversion (that takes too long).
