No Playback From I Pod After Sync

Hello all,

I sync'd my library (about 570 songs) to my new 30G video Ipod, and when I try to play them back, the songs in that particular artist's folder just count 1 of 14, 2 of 14, etc. until it reaches the end of that folder and reverts back to the main music menu. It's like it finds nothing to play even though the artists and songs are in the music directory of the i Pod.

I reset the I Pod back to factory using the update software and tried it again...no help. The files are labled "media monkey" when viewing them in windows "My Music"

I removed i Tunes from my system and want to only use Media Monkey.

Where am I going wrong?

Make sure to enable the "compatibility settings" (iPod default file structure and 31-character filename limit)
