problems with automatic album art collection

Hi,
in general automatic album art download works quite well. I have a few minor problems with it though:
- download of album art where album name or album artist name contains a & (ampersand) or a german umlaut (eg artist Die Ärzte) does not work
- sometimes no picture is stored although it can be seen in the "selected" box, i have not found any reason as yet, current work around for me is to select a few songs of the album in quick sucsession
- i cannot remove a wrong picture because every time I remove it (right mouse click in album art window->remove), it is automatically reloaded immediately; however, i don't want to turn the feature off completely as it is useful in general
- when i select a file with no album title, the downloaded picture is added to all files with no album title, generating a lot of updates; also, it is added in addition to existing others, so these files end up with sometimes 20 front covers and more
