Recreating Database Error [#12679]

Since last update I can“t use MMA anymore...

By starting it I get the message "updating database" and the "loading circle" starts spinning. Afterwards nothing happens anymore - it looks like it takes forever and ever.

Deinstalled app reinstalled it from playstore - now I get the message "recreating database" - endless spinning circle again. Nothing does happen.

Any idea?

We're posting a new beta today 409 that should resolve this (I've posted a non-beta build to the _beta_release_thread_ in case you're using the release build rather than the beta). It should be released by Monday to the Google Play store if all goes well.

Please try it again with build 411 or later. If the problem persists, it may be that the database is corrupted. Can you send a private message to rusty and I with a link to your db (just zip the contents of /MediaMonkey and send it to us)?

If you just want to get things working again, you can do a clean install as described here.

Thanks.

We are unable to replicate this. If you experience the problem, please send me a private message with a link to your DB (as described above). Thanks!

EDIT (followup): iffland indicated via private PM that a clean install actually solved the problem. We're analyzing his DB to see what went wrong.
