AutoDJ very slow

Hi there,
When I use AutoDJ to automaticly add songs to "Now playing", it goes very slow

. It doesn't matter if I use the full library or a playlist of 5 songs.
When I click the last entry of the "Now Playing", there happens anything for 1 to 3 seconds. Then there's MM Activity and the next 5 songs are added and the clicked song starts playing.
I haven't got any autoscripts running, but there are over 30.000 songs

in the library present. The PC is top range; 3,2Ghz, 4GB mem.
When I click anywhere else on songs, or don't use the AutoDJ everything is lightning fast in MM.
Please help,
Grtz Supergrover

Yes, i can confirm this. Rather annoying actually since there is an interuption before the last song starts to play. I cant recall that it was like this in previous versions (I'm using 2.5.2). However I almost never use Auto-DJ in favour of Scrobbler-DJ. This should however be improved.

This should be fixed in the next version.

AutoDJ workes fine so far, for me.
But I have Songs from 4 Machines via 4 hostnames in my library and if one host is not available (because it's switched off

) and the AutoDJ want's to add a song from this machine, playing stops until the AutoDJ finds an available song.
@Jiri or Rusty
Could the adding of a new song to Now Playing via AutoDJ be done as a seperate thread? That wouldn't interrupt playing.

Yes, this is planned for the next major version, i.e. it won't appear in MM 2.5.3.

And when the current playing song source becomes unavailable it stops playback. Even tough many of the songs on the source playlist are in the virtualCD and still available.
The good thing is that it doesn't run into an infinite loop, but AutoDJ should be able to check source playlist (which has the status = accesible condition turned on) and determine if it could keep playing by changing to the next available song.

Another bug:
If I choose a Playlist with 3 Songs in it, but tell the AutoDJ to add 5, Mediamonkey hangs!

Onkel Enno,
Do you have any more specific repro steps?
Tested with 2.5.4 beta 2 and cannot reproduce.

I have an auto playlist with songs I haven't heard a few days.
If this playlist only contains 3 Tracks left and AutoDJ should add 5, MM hangs.
But I can't reproduce this limiting the autoplaylist to 3 Songs.
I'll keep an eye on this. Maybe it was only a 1 time thing.

Perhaps it's related to the characteristics of the autoplaylist?
What are the criteria?

To be honest, I've never had this again.
The day I had it, I could reproduce this over and over again.
