Edit Mode too easy - F2

It seems that it's way too easy to enter edit mode (F2) when clicking back and forth between the various panels in MM.
For example, a tree node is selected but the track panel is active and has the focus. If you click back over to the tree node, the node goes into F2 edit mode on the first click instead of waiting for a 2nd click.
The same thing happens to the track fields when clicking in the track/now playing list. This also makes it too easy to accidently select a different field from a dropdown without even realizing it.
Summary, MM enters field edit mode (F2), any time a field/node is clicked a second time after being selected. Ideally this should only happen when the field/node gets 2 clicks in a short period of time, and not single clicks separated by periods of time and definately not happen when tabbing/clicking from one panel to another (ie from tree to track or vice versa).
